It depends on what type of forms you filed. If you filed your immigrant visa form AND your adjustment of status form (I-485) together that is Concurrent filing. If you only filed your immigrant visa form then it is Non concurrent 😊

I did the same. We are Non concurrent because we can not file the form I-485 until our K1 visas are approved and we get married. Once the petitioner and the beneficiary are married, then the lawyer can file the form I-485 for adjustment of status for the beneficiary.

I have been waiting 7 months and no update. The California Service Center is currently the only one processing K1 and K2 Visas. The time-frame they predict is 9-12 months currently 😔
