Guys, is there a way to get a temporary greencard pending the time I get the real one? USPS lost it and I need to travel or better still, where and how can I check my greencard details? like how many years was issued and #?

There’s no provision of a ‘temporary green card’. If you reported it lost & requested a new one, it is usually sent within 2-4 weeks.

@Kanye East yes i reported it and filed i90 but am scared but hope to get it in 2weeks because Google is scaring me with the wait period

i believe if your married more then 2yrs you automatically get the 10yr if not you’ll be the 2 yr one

I think you can get an info pass appointment to get approval to come back in without your green card. they stamp your passport I believe. @Joyce joyce

if your GC was lost in transit and you have both i130 and i485 approval do yourself a favor by scheduling an appointment at your local USCIS field office and explain your situation to the supervisor
You should get a i551 stamp on your passport which allows you to travel back and forth till you get your physical card

@D D not in transit, got approved and it didn't deliver, still uscis didn't see it
