@um noon they don’t need proof of residency. I asked my Lawyer if she would be able to transfer my case and she contacted Malaysia’s embassy and automatically asked for my documents and case number meaning you don’t need to be a resident. I decided to leave my case in Djibouti since they’re close to my dq date. my friend transferred her case and after a month of having a new case number they gave her husband an appointment. after the interview they gave him his Visa in about 2 months

@um noon I’m not really sure about the Yemeni community in Malaysia, but Malaysia is a really nice country to stay in. everything is really accessible, and more people speak English there then Djibouti. Also, the whole process from her transferring her case to getting a new case number took about 2 weeks, and a month later her husband got an interview appointment. after his interview it took two months for them to issue his visa.
