I don’t think it really matters my husband was born here and in his card I doesn’t said his middle name.

doesn't matter it's all same mine too but if have to apply for plastic card then filed the documents on line SSA and answer all input question included ur middle name

dont stress it it’s not a big deal, you can go to Social security office and do the changes. my ssn and gc didn’t have the same name never had an issue.
