Asking this for a friend. Him and his fiancee had a baby in their foreign country before he became US CITIZEN.The child is 5 years old now,he is filing K1 visa for the mother to include the child as K2 ,Is that correct form to file for both child and the mother since the child was born before he became US citizen?

yes God’s child is right, n if that is not the case the form i129f is for both the mother n child as long as the child is mentioned.
