help
Hello, i have a question for you guys. My interview is about to be scheduled but i have one concern. When i sent my documents to USCIS I think that I’ve sent them the orginal birth certificate as well as the translated version. I saw that for the interview they are looking for the original birth certificate. What should i do?

yea you need both people’s birth certificate technically. if you sent in the packet physically, your interviewing officer will have the packet that you sent in with him. so he will have ur documents you sent in in hand. although this does not mean they’re gonna give any of it back to you. they’re going to keep it for themselves after the interview without returning them

ALL the originals they should give it back

no they do not give it back. it specifically says they will keep all the documents you submit, so make sure to send in COPIES. you have to submit a form to request the docs to be returned to you after ur approval

if you want the original back, make sure you have photocopies to replace them on the day of interview. otherwise they won’t give you back
