if you are not sure hire an imigrantion attorney.But if you want to do by yourself go watch some YouTube tutorials then go to the website to see what’s the right forms I130 it depends if you guys are in the same country or not.Put together all the documents they ask so you can appload them.

@Big Joe I am Canadian. What are you planning to do? A change of status from within the US or consulate processing where she stays there? You are married? not engaged?

@Big Joe We did a change of status. Got married in the US and did not leave until I had my green card.

@Kingsley B yeah I'm about to go see her and do the marriage as she is in Canada.

@Big Joe If she goes to the USA, you can do a change of status. However, you would need to misrepresent that you had not planned to do it. She will need strong ties to Canada for her to be allowed to even enter the US during your application.
