Labor certification is tied to an employer/sponsor. If you're not with them anymore, you need to file a new one with new employer.

is it possible to find and file i140 within the 25 days time frame ? if lc expires I have to apply again right ?

@ark kc You can't file i140 with a new employer if your LC was done by a different employer. All the steps upto filing for i485 needs to be done by the same sponsor. If you change jobs at anytime before this, you need to start over.

@ark kc as my understanding is , if case is pending (i485) and job is changed then you need to submit J supplement. but if i140 is not submitted then guess have to start new as someone explains above

@ark kc You can’t change the employer on the PERM. Changing the employer is only allowed when your I-485 has been pending for more than 180 days.

@MD Kashif @Bill : ) ok I am still on touch with my sponser is 25 days time is enough to file i140 before expiration I am scared of thinking about redoing everything after 1.5 years gone since I started
