I know you can find divorce done after 2016 on the website but if done on or before 2015 it doesn’t have an online tracking. My divorce was 2015, and I’ve never had issues and it’s from High Court

@victory !!! I know it’s mostly Muslims that needs to return BridePrice and all as part of the divorce process and an affidavit from the Elders in their house who witnessed the marriage and returns of dowries

@Merciful God🙏 Merciful God If you guys still communicates I will advise you tell him to go to the high court and request for an affidavit ordering the divorce to be finalized and send you with High court red stamp, then send to the USCIS

@Victory, if your wedding was at the Church, you can’t have divorce decree from the Customary Court. Church and Court wedding have to get a divorce decree from the high court while Traditional Marriage which is dowry returns gets divorce decree from the Customary Court. Traditional marriage does not issue certificates. I know so because I had similar experience and I was given an RFE regarding my divorce.

@Alexer George, I was able to resolve this by writing more and still standing on my grounds that I had native law and customs marriage and I could only get divorce decree from the customery court based on our tradition. So I still ended up submitting the same paperwork which I earlier submitted and like 3 months later, my I 360 was approved. Though, I got help from an attorney from home country who helped me do some paperwork. That was the only RFE I got before approval.

@victory !!! Lala explained how he defended his decree so you might learn off that but yes it’s okay for your PF to be late that’s not a problem. And once it’s filed by your ex wife you shouldn’t have issues.
