Has anyone filed a WOM for a delayed I-485 recently?
Has anyone filed a Writ of Mandamus (WOM) for a delayed I-485 recently? My attorney recently told me that in two of the WOM cases he filed, government attorneys are preparing to file Motions to Dismiss, arguing that the applicants haven’t waited long enough for their I-485 applications to be considered unreasonably delayed. I filed my own WOM in September, so I’m pretty worried about this. Has anyone else experienced something similar recently? Did the government attorney try to dismiss your case? If so, what happened afterward? I’d really appreciate hearing about your experiences. Thanks!
