@r a yes I brought everything that can help my case. The officer asked if i have a removal case, and also asked me the date of my biometrics. The reason for emergency expedite and the date and duration of travel. Please bring all documents deemed substantial to back up your case.

What is the difference between Infopass and applying to expedite the advance parole via Emma? My mom is critically unwell, I applied to expedite via Emma but now, after seeing your post, I’ve been wondering about Infopass.

@Denise I travelled last April 22 then I came back May 5th. My Mom passed away here in the US, and I brought her remain home. 1. The entry was smooth and no issues.The officer just asked for my address in the US and stamped my passport. 2. The difference between Emergency AP and Emma expedite is that with Emma it could take days, or a month to get approved. Then you will wait for the AP to be mailed to you. Whereas with infopass, you can set for an appointment to speak with an officer personally in your local FO and explain your case. They can approve it instantaneously. I got the AP same day April 19 and then in the 22nd I travelled to my home country. Emergency AP is only good for a month though, while AP expedite I believe is valid for a year (multiple entry while AOS is under processing). I pray that you will be granted with AP right away and see your Mom.

I did. I had my appt today at field office and got approved on spot. They gave it to me for 30 days. Planning to fly on Friday

@Juventus tifozo no problems. First officer was kinda scary since I didn’t have any visa in my passport since I got new passport and my visas were in old passport and asked me why did I leave country without visa. He sent me to secondary inspection, no questions there, everything went smooth.
