I-130 also needs to be approved before you can be issued the green card. congratulations

the I-130 is simply just a form that tells USCIS that you are eligible for the type of visa you have applied for. if your I-485 was approved you will receive the next update telling you that your card is produced. from all the cases I’ve seen the I-130 does not have to be approved first.

In the old days 485 could not be approved before 130. These days USCIS is doing whatever it wants 😄 Congrats! 485 approval trumps all other applications, so you should have your greencard soon. I heard of someone who got his 130 approved 2 weeks after his greencard was delivered to his mailbox 😅
