H1-B approval after a long wait.
long waited to have this answer. didn’t expected to last that long. now there is more things to do to get stamp and ssn. anybody here knows the process and what comes after ?

If you are outside the country you will receive and I-797A to schedule a visa stamping. when you enter the country you will go to your nearest SSA to apply for a SSN.

be sure to have enough money and a week or more stay in a hotel if you are coming in the USA without family here because for me I didn’t realize it would take more than a week or 2 to get my social security number. without the ssn you can’t start working.

so I will get the visa stamp then after that I need to apply for a Ssn? is that it?
