Guidance Needed Regarding Upcoming USCIS Interview and Pending VAWA Case
My husband has refused to attend our USCIS interview, and we have already missed the interview twice. I have also filed a VAWA case this year, which is currently pending.
USCIS has now scheduled another interview for next month. However, this is not a VAWA interview; it is the interview for the original case that I filed jointly with my husband. This will be the third time USCIS has scheduled this interview.
Since my husband continues to refuse to attend and I now have a pending VAWA case, should I still attend the interview with my immigration lawyer?

you will go to your interview with your attorney, the attorney will request supervisor and to supervisor your attorney will tell that the applicant filed VaWa and now you want uscis to attach your 485 to 360 not to your 130 document on file. after couple of months or years they will deny 130 and you will file a divorce from your husband @Jospeh caleb

yes.. attend the interview, this is also part of a good base for ur vawa case, you need to let them know this is part of the abuse you suffer from ur spouse.. not wanting to support u to attend the interview. n also mentioned you have a pending vawa case

Go with your attorney, but your I-130 will be denied and your I-360 will be used to replace you I-130 for your pending I-485. @Jospeh caleb
