did you get a notification when your case was transferred to the field office? where was it originally filed? did it go to NBC?

sorry for my ignorance but based on my understanding PD is not current. how did this happen?

@Permanent Resident I didn't get any notice. I found out that by chatting Emma. it was in Texas originally and transferred to NBC and after FO.

@Nil Nil I have just double checked and my PD is 05/04/2022. So can you please make me clear? What is current PD? My I-485 is approved and it says new card is being produced

@Permanent Resident no I didn't get any notification. It was non local field office. How does this PD work? How do we understand the PD current or not?

@sky91 light , if you look at the visa bulletin for June 2023, you will see that June 1st, 2022 is the final action cutoff date for our category. But for July 2023, the visa bulletin shows that cutoff date will be Feb 2022. so you and I will no longer be current next month.

@sky91 light it took 8 days. i got new card is being produced on Tuesday. the card was delivered next Wednesday.

@N F Has your status changed to case Approved? Also how can I track the mail? Will the tracking number be provided?

first card is being produced, the next day case was approved, in 3-4 days card was mailed to me, in 2 days after that card was delivered to me and they'd give usps tracking number at the last step after the card was delivered.

congrats! did you have any RFE from field office? or it was just a straight approval?

congrats!! Following this as we have the exact same timeline: I filed my I-485 and I-140 on 03/31/23, EB1-C ROW. My I-485 is at NBC still since April. My PD is 03/31/23. hoping to get my I-485 as quickly as yours! What was the last status of your I-485 prior to getting approved?

@lunne cia thank you! I-485 moved to NBC on 04/23 and again moved to Non local field office on 06/06. I had a conversation with Emma last Friday which is a day ago before the approval and I was told my case been reviewed viewed on 06/12. I don't know if they reviewed one more time. I have done the biometrics two times. First one on 04/14 which was for I-485 and second one on 05/16 was for I-131. good luck
