@Nervous waiting...that is because there is currently no immigrant visa available for partners of permanent residents.The folks getting approved after you are/were married to citizens..i am in the same situation..hopefully we get a visa available pretty soon..

@Rosy ann how do we know when is a visa available? I thought if the visa bulletins says they are working on November 2021 is because all the previous solicitors have a visa available. Whennia your priority date? how long have you been waiting?

they are working oncases August/setember 2021.

@Rosy ann what happens if the LPR you were married to is now a citizen? does that help your case move faster? or do you still have to wait for a visa to be available?

@Shanice blue ..i asked them.i was told ild have to prove it.. question is how do i prove it?remember you ld have to get the documents legally..if you can prove your lpr spouse is now a citizen,you can send them that proof,and not have to wait for an immigrant visa to be available.
