Green Card Received
Hello all,
I wanted to share good news that my husband received greencard through AOS. here’s the time line.
Field Office: Tampa, FL
May 7,2020 - USCIS received our application
May 18,2020 - i-797c receipt received
June 5,2020 - RFE for Joint Sponsorer
June 12, 2020- responded to RFE
January 8,2021 - Biometrics completed
March 4, 2021 - Interview completed
March 12, 2021 - Greencard Received
he never received his new EAD/travel permit while the case was in progress.
I hope all that is waiting for some progress on their end, may all work out in your favor.

hey@Niki P; did they approve you on the same day or you had to wait for that after the status has changed to Interview was completed and my case must be reviewed!

@Martin h : yes officer that interviewed us, approved him at the end of the interview on the same day.

@I. c. : they asked us demographic questions to both of us, some personal ques like how we met, who asked who, when we started dating,etc.
asked to provide proof of living together docs...
some of the questions were also related to the applications we filled... it wasn’t bad at all.

@Nikki P I didn’t get the approval its was a lady and she wasn’t working from his office she was using another office and the computer was acting weird, she told me probably take to 3 to 6 week to get the Conditional GC

I applied for citizenship on July 6, 2020, never had any biometric appointment yet. Are they re-using fingerprints?
