I’m not sure, they will update your case status for sure to “card was mailed to me” but they usually don’t send emails, as far as I know.

your status will update but it may be delayed. much after they actually send it. just keep your eye on the mail for the next few weeks

No they don't... You will receive it in the mail without any advance notice or mail.

I got an email when the card was produced. Not when the card was mailed out, but they happened a day after it was produced.
