hopefully it won’t be too long for you! I knew I got it the minute I entered the officer’s office. she told me I will have it. now it’s a matter of when I’ll get it

Got approved on 10th and on the 17th I had card in hand. So sometimes a week! Keep checking your I-485 status online, when USPS pick up card, status will change, then give you tracking number and usually that comes very fast

@Nicolas H, did you get your green card mailed to you? Has your status changed from 'new card is being produced'? Similar to you, I got approved on Sep 17th, Friday last week, and I am waiting for my status to change from 'new card is being produced' since then...

@A S not yet. talked on Emma and they told me an approval notice has been sent last Friday and the card hasn’t been mailed yet. For my case, the officer knew my visa ends next Saturday so she said she’ll do what she can for me to get the card before that. otherwise I can lose my job

@Nicolas. Same thing to me. 2 hours ago I just received an email saying it was mailed though. no tracking number. So give it 24 hours

I filed only I-130 for my spouse. should I file other documents as well

@Linda Sarfo, I would highly recommend filing all documents concurrently. Sometimes waiting for an I-130 can take up to a year and then another year for Adjustment of Status (Green Card). Together they may all take just one year.
