The end of a long journey, 10 years GC received yesterday😍 thanks to all of you here who’s been sharing their journey and for those who are still on this shaky road, don’t ever lose hope, your time will come when it has to come❤️‍🩹 Also I have a question, do I have to go to social services in order to change my SSN ? since it says valid for work only…

@Oct- 2021 Congratulations🎉. Did you file I-765? If yes, when did you get approval for the ead and how long did it take you to get your GC after receiving your ead card?

yes @el B I filled concurrently and received my ead on april 2022 it took around 6 months and then after that no updates in my other cases until now july 2023 that I got my i-130 and i-485 approved, nothing wrong with my case I’m not sure why it took so long to approve but at least I got 10 years GC

@Precious Rosario my field office is newark, but my approval notices came from Nebraska service center for i-130 and national benefits center for i-485

@Oct- 2021 our FO Is SLC, Utah but our case is at the Chicago FO. we can't my medicals with our initial filing .

@Oct- 2021 I got approved on 7/4, received new SSN card with no restrictions today. Disnt have to go to SSN office
