You wasted too much time. You could have sued them after 1year of waiting; you could have been close to filing for your citizenship had they timely adjudicated your case. And the funny thing is that they don’t count/credit all that waiting period to your resident other than backdating your 10-year green card to 1 year of permanent residency from the day theh adjudicate your case (Technically making you waste 2 years of permanently waiting for the green card), but the irony is that they add that waiting period to the card when you applied as a refugee the moment you entered the US on a refugee status until the day you become a permanent resident of the US. It is so ridiculous and unfair to asylees that they tend to do whatever with people’s cases. Nonetheless, Big Congratulations !!!
