Green Card approved today!
Finally approved after ~8 months. PD was current at the time of filing, I-140 (urgent processing) and combo cards were all filed concurrently and processed without issues. Nationality is Pakistani. RFIE was for birth documents, I sent in a notarised affidavit as advised by lawyers and it seemed to have worked fine.
good luck to everyone, it’s takes time and patience but your time will come.

Hi it was filed with Nebraska Service Center and stayed there (no transfers).

One of the areas of concern for me was the processing time after responding to the RFIE. The app shows that most cases get a decision within 40 days of responding to RFEI (it does not distinguish between RFE & RFIE). In my case it took over six months. I did not follow up on my case with anyone and let it run its course.

my I-485 case is still pending due to rfe birth certicate and rfe was received in March this year. still waiting for approval. it has been 3 months since.

@MJ . I'm in the same boat. I responded to RFIE (birth certificate) on 01/12/24. it's been 6 months and I'm still waiting for the approval on I-485.
My EAD and AP is already approved, my nationality is also Pak, and my case is at NBC.

@Huzaifa Hasan since it’s Nebraska SC the series number starts with LIN. MSC series is for NBC. Hopefully you should get your decision any day now.

congratulations, did you apply for yourself or with family/dependents? I am still waiting for my AOS, PD ha been current since I applied in Feb 2024. So far only approved for EAD. No AP and AOS approval yet for myself and dependents. Got RFE for Birth certificate in april and replied in 20 days of it. nothing further.

@BL D I applied for self and family/dependents. it took them 6+ months after responding to birth certificate RFIE. Maybe they haven’t sent your AP since they expect to issue a decision on AOS very soon.

btw. weird think is happening on my EAD status. it got changed first on 3rd then 5th and 10th with same status “case was approved” why is that?
