Here’s a quick timeline of my EB-1A-based adjustment of status:
• ✅ I-140 Approved: January 13, 2025
• 📄 I-485 Filed: February 3, 2025
• 🧬 Biometrics: February 25, 2025
• 📩 RFE (Medical – Polio vaccine): June 30, 2025 (from San Diego Field Office)
• 📬 RFE Response Sent: July 15, 2025 → Case transferred to Oakland Park Field Office
• 🎉 I-485 Approved: July 24, 2025
• 💳 Green Card in hand: August 1, 2025
I’m beyond grateful to have reached this point. Wishing everyone going through this process clarity, strength, and good news soon!

I received an RFE because the civil surgeon had marked the Polio vaccine as “Not age appropriate” on the I-693 form. This was a mistake. I got the vaccine, submitted the corrected medical, and the issue was resolved. ✅
