@RAG RAG - Many congratulations to you and your family ! a couple of questions:- was your case always with NBC or got transferred to field office ? if it got transferred after how many days of biometrics. any specifics reason your case took so much to get approved? did you raise any Service Requests ?

Thank you so much!. Our case was transfered on Dec 2022 from Texas to NBC. It was 6 month after the biométrics. I opened 2 o 3 Service Request but always the answer was: The case is under normal processing time.

The lawyers reviewed the details of what was requested by USCIS in the RFE notice and USCIS required the birth certificates that are specifically called in Spanish: Acta de Nacimiento instead of Certificado de Nacimiento. I had to check with the Argentinian authorities if they can issue an Acta de Nacimiento for all of us. Note that the issuing authority must to be the Civil Registry (Registro Civil) from the municipality or rural area in which the birth occurred. The document must contain the stamp and signature of the registry’s authority. If for some reason the Registro Civil cannot issue an Acta de Nacimiento, the National Civil Registry (RENAPER) will issue an letter called “Certificación de datos.”
