Hi friends, can anyone guide me?
Next week I’m planning to file a writ of mandamus. It’s been 16 months since I filed my green card application, and I still haven’t received a decision.
Do you think I should file the mandamus lawsuit, or should I wait longer? I’d really appreciate your advice and experiences. Thank you!

i waited almost 14 months after approval of my asylum then i applied for i-485 and it’s been more than 13 months now since i applied for GC but my lawyer said i still have to wait for 4 more months
