Hello, how are you? My partner and I are in the process of adjusting status from O1 to EB1. We both traveled to our country with advance parole, but in my case, I returned the day before yesterday, and he will return next Saturday. The issue is that my residency (I-485) was approved yesterday, but not his. Could it be because he is still traveling?

Good question. I doubt it is because of the travel. Normally, the approve that of the primary applicant before the derivative(s).
