green and holder deportation
hello everyone. I am a greencard holder. I got my green card through DV lottery. I am currently planning a 3 months trip to Cameroon to see my husband. I have applied for him since February 2023 and am still waiting. I read that they are deporting green card holders. do anyone think that my trip back home can put me in trouble? I have no criminal background. is there something I should do before I travel? Thanks

you are not a criminal and are lawfully in United States. you are more than ok to travel. please stay away from negativity and No you do not need a lawyer to tell you that.

last year i went out of the country for like more then 9 time, and now i'm in My home country with My wife togethere, planing to be with My wife 2 month, and i'm greencard holder, @Vanou Dzali

@angel portillo last year I traveled to stay with my husband too. I was not worried. it's just with all this informations about green card deportation I want to make sure I won't get in trouble

I think the green card holders who get deported are the ones with crimes like DUI, drug dealing etc. if the record is clean, no need to worry about
