USCIS don't give a S about congressman, They are working in their own rythem and won't expedite or correct without exceptional circumstances OR excessive congressman involvement. Immigration help is not a big agenda for them either.

You just have to wair. Contacting the congressman usually works when your case is stuck or past the normal processing time for most of the cases. What is your PD
