Got RFE on I-485 , asking for I-693 medical examination from Civic Surgeon.
I had already provided this document in September 2020 with all other forms. I got my EAD with AP but now have received RFE for this. why would they ask for this document again ? misplaced documents or something else ?

Did you attended the interview already? If yes very soon your card will be issued, forward the request to them.

@Amanda I think the test results are valid for 2 years. I got this last September so I am sure the results are valid

@Virendra... The test is valid for 2 years but will expired after 60 months of issues date( date the Civil surgeon signes it)... so, in between those 60 months, you have to send it if not you will have to redo all the medical exam. Thus, the courteous letter should say also " NOT TO SEND THE MEDICAL NOW BUT DURING YOUR INTERVIEW" so u will have to read again the letter. usually you are not obligated to send it and can wait till they actually schedule your interview because you might be surprised again by redoing the medical. @ falade ,i attended my interview with USC wife on 27th of January my i-130 was approved on the spot, but my said my I485 will be reviewed, few days after i got RFE on my I485 asking for my surgeon to use latest version of I-693 form and fill some part of the form.i have resent it again a new i-693 from my surgeon last week,but i haven't heard any update

Send them the medical ASAP. It is always not sure that they will waive your interview when you get RFE of medical examination. I don’t know why one of my friends was also asked to send him the medical for second time and after 10 days his case was approved without interview. You may have the same situation. But again individual case is vary from one to another. Thank you
