i had my interview earlier today too in Los Angeles downtown. she aapproved me on the spot but she said status changed depends on how fast the system is. sometimes it can take only a few mins after the interview or sometimes a day or two and she told me ill get the green card within 3 to 4 weeks. i knowsomeone too who got approved on the 10th but the IO told them that they cant process it on the system yet. they are transitioning to a new system and they still getting the hang of it.

how did the interview go? if your interview went well then no need to worry

@ swung shin a don’t understand what the issue is with that field office in Los Angeles downtown. had my interview there too status still the same officer said they are having technical issues with the system and couldn’t put the approval in the system. I don’t just understand and it has been a week now nothing

@ Sharmy Sharmy yes marriage base . interview when well officer couldn’t put the approval in the system Bc of some technical issues with the new system they have now

@O J oh i was thinking of asking last night in one of the threads if it has changed. oh man.. it hasnt changed on mine too. but she told me she already approved it on the system but she cannot say when it will be updated online. so i guess they havent fixed it yet

@ Louriz N yeah status haven’t updated yet but I wonder how long it will be like this and I notice on my interview day with other people that were there too. so I really wonder how long we will be waiting for an update

i just checked my status and my i-485 changed to Approved saying they mailed me the approval notice!

no I had my I-130 approved last year

@O J . Im so sorry. I wouldn't know what to do either. its just annoying how they approved you on the spot only to find out that the waiting game is not over. Did you try to check with Emma or you think it's pointless to ask?
