Got my I-130 approved. USCIS has requested for my medical to be mailed. will share more detailed timeline once process is completed.
one learning lesson though - try to submit I-693 at the same time has submitting your application for I-130 and I-485 for a faster approval. I didn’t, hence it took me close to 10 months to receive RFE for medical.

unfortunately that doesn’t always work . we submitted my medical with our paperwork and we’re still not approved. my medical expires next week so I’ll have to redo it

@Pri Iyer That wasn't advisable before March of this year when they changed the rule that medicals are now valid for 2 yrs after its signed by civil surgeon.

I didn’t submit my medical until I got the RFE and two days after the received my response I was approved. if you don’t submit your medical with your forms they are now skipping your interview after the medical RFE

Interviews are not being waived because you send medical or don't send medical at the beginning. However, they are because you have proven a solid case based on your evidences provided.
