Did you take that long to respond or they took all that time to update the system? I’m asking because it’s been almos 3 months since they received my response but the status has not been changed to receive. what was your RFE for? thank you for sharing it really helps those who are still waiting. blessings

@Evita B In the same boat here, i responded to the rfe and it's been about 6 months now since they received it but there is still no update in the system. The general pause might have affected that as well... It seems that certain cases are processed relatively faster than some depending on the time it was filed.

@Evita B my RFE was for medical, and they asked me to fill out the updated 485. I took time to respond because one year asylum approval was first week of June. Didn’t want to risk. I’m the first week of June they invited me for the interview for both 485 and I 730

unfortunately guys Asykum GC adjudication went down x9 times since March….in April and May only around 1000 GC based on asylum were approved each month. in Jan,Fev,Mar almost 10k GC were approved each month based on asylum…..therr is a backlog of 80k cases and 40k of them are pending more than 6 months…. so yeah, we cooked

@kate xaame yes it’s backdated to June 2024 and expires on 2035

@Angel K the date is July 2025, 2 weeks after verbal approval on interview at 26 federal plaza, she is been here for 10 years

@Green Card Approved An immigration attorney told me if the prinicpal asylee adjust the status to LPR and if their beneficiary has pending I730 in US , USCIS will deny the pending i730 because the principal asylee no longer holds the asylum status to adjudicate the i730 petition . do you have any knowledge on this ?

Not sure about that one; but we had interview for my green card and wife’s i-730 at the same time, same room and officer. So pfficer approved my GC and wifes i-730

@Angel K we had an interview for my green card and for my wife’s i730 together in the same room in the same time back in June Officer approved my green card and also approved my wife’s I 730
