some say the ssn should arrive in the mail after you get your work permit on the mail. I actually went to their local office and requested in person

@T Y on the i765 there was an option to apply and I filled that part out so I think they already requested it for me

I got a work permit approved after 12 days, my travel permit after about 355 days and still waiting for my green card. I don’t think there’s any real timeline you can expect.
