@Chelsea Black my case has been sent to nvc since dec 5th, haven’t gotten a welcome letter reached out to them and I only got nvc case number no invoice ID they said my country embassy can’t receive cases for now because of backlog I’ve been seeing people’s cases being approved on here since nvc has started working on them,heard they’re attending to January cases now Should I be hopeful that when they get to March I’ll get my approval?

@kkO ✨️ it doesn’t take long after u complete & submit the ds-260 u have to complete & summit the affidavit of support (financial support) and u have to upload civil documents for your ds-260 application. The ds-260 is mostly about the beneficiary (meaning the person who u are filing for) The affidavit of support is for the petitioner to prove he/she can support the beneficiary to come to the US. so u got to upload ur most recent tax transcripts. they will always give u instructions on what documents to upload!😊. After u upload and submit everything they ask for and there is no need for correction with what u submit. Give is 2-4 week to become documentary qualify, some people case can takes longer, it all depends on the country of the beneficiary (meaning the person u are filing for).

@mario e yes ofc! just bring your US passport if u are a US citizen. But the petitioner is not needed, the petitioner is not require to be be at the interview it’s optional 🤗

@mario e the questions are gonna be about how you & her met, when was the wedding & what kind of work u do in the states, the address u live, how long y’all been together& stuff like that, stuffs that she should already know. And let her photocopy evidence like pictures of the wedding, money transfer, pictures of y’all together different from the wedding photos. screenshot of text messages & voice & video calls, flight tickets of you visiting her or if y’all ever been to another country together. The consulate doesn’t have to ask for these evidences below 👇 but its best to be prepare always 🤗

@mario e when I went to do my police record, I brought the picture that’s in my passport book, & they said it couldn’t use so I had to take over a new one for the police record. But once they don’t have no problem with it you are good no need to worry!😊

@kkO ✨️ in your welcome letter did u see your case ID number? if so then u can go on the ceac website and log in to see if the two applications said “Paid” if it say “paid” u can go ahead and start your applications and submit supporting documents but it normally takes 10 calendar days to clear your money, because it’s an bank account they advice us to pay with, u can’t use credit/debit card
