good news today!!
just got my i485 approval after 122 days!!
can’t even begin to explain how much of a relief it is. this was my second green card attempt after a denial in 2021 due to a wildly incompetent and reckless lawyer who ended up suspended from practicing law due to messing up so many peoples cases, lying about submission dates and causing his clients to be overstaying/working out of status, compromising their future in the US. i have been sick with anxiety for months worrying that he might have done something very bad with my previous case and that it would come up during my AOS process and i’d be in major trouble like several of his other former clients. im beyond relieved to be in the clear and approved without hassle thanks to my new wonderful, competent and reliable lawyer

Yayy Congratss Laura!! did you also submit I-131 (AP) and I-765 (EAD), same time you submitted I-485? and did you get approval of those before greencard or your greencard was approved first? Thankss

@Sodo 11 yes we submitted all three at the same time and neither of those were approved yet, the i485 came first! i still have a valid O1 til december this year so i wonder if they didn’t bother with my EAD because of that
