GOOD NEWS
USCIS service centers are now prioritizing the processing of Form I-130 preference petitions for which an the Department of State Visa Bulletin shows that an immigrant visa is available. The visa bulletin, published monthly, lists available immigrant visas by priority date. USCIS uses the visa bulletin to determine the current visa categories and priority dates before processing a Form I-130 preference petition. Service centers have prioritized our adjudication efforts so that we can focus on those cases that have visas available.

I didn’t understand

This means they are now prioritizing the I-130 cases, and they will now approve cases at a faster rate. I think this is because they are getting backlogged.

@Saba T basically which ever category is alloted the most or has visa availability will be prioritized.
Shari 07May 31, 2023
Also, most of the people’s processing times change from 5-6 months to “Your case is taking longer than expected.”

@Shari 07 I have same question as @psp _
roro April 2022May 31, 2023
@Saba T @Shari 07 it’s all anesthesia injections.. ppl got so overwhelmed nowadays and it’s all about the debt this country owed .. the number I saw today all over the News doesn’t seems good at all .. and last week the Chief of HDS was talking about sending more employees to the border to help with the asylum seekers crisis.. my processing times for I-130 went from 2 weeks to taking longer than expected since 6 months and now i don’t have that option on my online account anymore.. we will see in the coming days .. they said we won’t see more backlogs and ofc that’s why they focused on 2023 cases and forgot about all of who is waiting since 2020/2021/2022 .. I think they always have to give priority to the U.S citizens ..but these days you will see F2A filers getting approval before citizens
