God
kind of tired hearing all the "Got my green card approved in 2 months, God is blessing me"
I have to ask these people - Is he punishing the rest of us?
*Please everyone have a little bit more awareness of the USCIS hell that others are going through. Boast a little less and perhaps stop publicly praising God for your wonderful, speedy experience.*

I understand your frustration, but everyone has different backgrounds, cases and history in US. i was in removal proceedings for 17 years in my original case through my parents so maybe my marriage based application is taking longer for that reason. some people who are getting it sooner are getting conditional greencards which is why it’s faster while others are waiting for so long. in total my uscis journey has been going for 20+ years. i was in preschool when it started. I’m happy for the ones getting approved, they give hope to those around them. its uscis thats unfair. God is not punishing us, just making us wait longer. i hope you can find relief that compared to someone who is waiting 20+ years you are in a better boat than that person 🙏🏼@Matt F

I totally get that. But isn't it just easier to not 'boast' on a public forum. As unintentional as it may be, it gives people so much anxiety.
For example, I have seen so many people today praise God for the efficient approval of their green card. Whereas, in April, I discovered that 5 years had been added on to my wait time.
Each case is indeed different, so in the interests of humanity, maybe praise God in your own home and your own church, not here.
I also understand that others are in a worse position than me. For that reason, when the time comes, I will thank God in my own space and my own time.
I just think it is a case of common courtesy and respect for the tough journey that we are all on.
If your efficient approval provides an insight that may help others, then by all means post about it. Let's be practical about things and post about insightful timelines and useful pieces of information.
I hope you understand where I am coming from.

@Matt F I completely understand. when I get my approval I might also post and thank God but I will also mention how long it took for me to give hope to those (like us) who have been waiting for sooo long. i will pray for you, I hope you get approval on your case soon, not the inaccurate 5 years date uscis gave you. and again, I can totally understand where you are coming from.

I'm glad you understand. We need to help each other get through this awful process.
For the record, my post was specific to those people who appear for 2 months, thank God and disappear again.. They destroy the hopes of the rest of the community who are here for a long long time. It is very deflating.
Maybe those people are unaware of the lengthy process that others have to navigate.
Respect to all in this community, especially those who are in it for the long haul.
