I just applied for 131 also they already did the fingerprints so I hope I get the same luck as you that they close it and give the green card today is 600 days waiting and 9 days for 131

it’s the weekend and I guess the 131 office is different from the 485 office watch and see it’s approved 485 I know because I saw other people on this app it happened to

when I submitted to i131 first recepit msc then after congrasss inquriy they give new recepit ioe for prosessing

yea I put mine in March 30 and yesterday I got a letter saying the reused my fingerprints I was so excited even though it’s not an approval excited because that was fast 9 days but I must say maybe it’s because I have my new 2 year EAD got that in January

and uscis says it is in back ground cheak prosess but I didn't do my biometrics

mine is humanitarian also I never applied cause I was waiting on the green card but now I really have to travel and never got the green card so I apply 131

I called Uscis but the person I spoke with didn’t know what that status meant and she promised to escalate for me and she said a tier 2 officer will call me. Up till now no call and no other update on my i131. it’s so frustrating

Yes. I finally got a call back from USCIS and the officer said the status on my i131 was because the person handling it made the his/her decision based on my previous denied AOS not the current application since my i131 was not received at the same time with the other forms. She advices that I refile the i131 and write a cover letter with it to make whoever is handling that to know it is with my new application and also for it to be expedited because my pd was in March and it was wrongly closed. So I advice anybody with a status that they don’t understand to call USCIS for clarification.
