GC timeline
Hi guys, need some help. My PD - 7/19/2021 and i submitted my I-485 on Feb 2022 through cross chargeability rule. In the month of Sep 2022 got a notice saying that my case was transferred to National Benefit Center (NBC). Till now there is no news about my GC. Got my AP and EAD but its been more than 8+ months and still no news on my GC. How long will it take ? Any info will help. Should i submit a expedite request. Think they lost my case. I am totally depressed and lost all hope.

@Alex Praveen we are in the same boat. let just have patience. sometimes I get tired of waiting. my PD is April 2022 till now nothing.

Patience is the key. There are people here who waited for i-485 processing for years and yours is only 8 months so any expedited request is just a waste of time and money especially with the retrogression right now. I will give you the best example of waiting, I had a friend who waited for 5 years and never complained because he informed himself with the process.

Unless your friend is from a backlogged country, i don't think waiting 5 years to adjudicate one case is reasonable.

Yes, exactly thats what i though. Your friend could have raised an expedite request long time back. Also if it was retro progressed then its a different story. Now a days i have seen many cases after getting transferred to NBC center they get their response within 4- 6 months

guys, I am in the same boat. eb2 Row, Been waiting for past 8 months, AP and EAD approved. my case went directly to NBC, i have seen many cases before and after my case are approved but no progress on mine. not sure how they process cases
