GC approved
I was expecting getting GC by the end of 2023 or early 2024, but it was approved much faster than I thought. I didn’t know I-131 will be canceled if I travel with valid visa. After receiving RFE for I-131, I was panicking and checked Lawfully, casestatusext.com, hilites.today and Reddit to see status of other applicants with closer # and/or situations. I saw some of them got approval faster, so I calmed down and decided not to resubmit I-131 application. It seems GC approval for EB-3 is getting faster these days, expecially after cases are transferred to NBC. Thank you for this community. Wish you all good luck.

@bobu Gaius Thank you! My attorney told me I-485 is processed separately from I-131 & I-765, but if the trip was a trigger, I’m really lucky!

@SC KT - congratulations. my wife travelled outside US on valid visa while her 131 and 485 are pending. Does that mean she will get RFE?
i was planning to travel as well. Now thinking if I should travel or not.

@Jay D Thank you! Yes, I-131 will be declined if you travel while pending. You can come back with valid visa and resubmit I-131 if you are fine to pay fee again. My visa is valid till Dec 2023, so I checked other applicants’ approval status and decided to wait for I-485 approval. Good luck!

congratulations.
NBC is always fast and on point. I got my ead and Advanced Parole card last week and my case moved to NBC, I'm so optimistic the GC is on its way

it kind of happened to me too. whe I traveled overseas for vacation, on the way back the immigration officer asked “Do you already have a green card?”. I said, i wish I did and I wouldn’t have given you the AP card for re-entry. but, I’m hoping my case is all set and just waiting for dates to be current.
