G-56 call in notice
Hello everyone,,
I just have some questions regarding to my AOS mariage based for the community.
There is a different notice letter sent for stoke interview?
I just received #G-56 call in notice letter from my local USCIS bureau, and the reason for the appointment is for stoke interview. It seems we will be interviewed by the previous Immigration Officer because I saw his name on the letter. At the first interview which lasted around 45mn I think we got 95% of answers right and according to our lawyer we did well and should be approved. So anybody has this kind of the experience before ? Also if you get approved after stoke interview and your mariage is less than 2 years which green card you get.

calling in interview are separation, when you have the officer name on the notice, just prepare very well you will be fine! what’s your timeline and field office?

You will get a two year GC if marriage is less than 2 years. But if marriage passes the two year timeline at the point of approval, USCIS will issue a 10 year GC. Good luck

did you sign your i485 white paper st the end of your first interview? if not then I think that's why he's calling you back. might just be for signing propose. but just be prepared for anything.

I remember signed a paper at the end of the interview but the reason for the appointment said « stokes interview». And the officer we have to ask for his the same as who interviewed us at first interview.
