how are you able to track the case with the API because you can't, can you inform?

means a supervisor is reviewing or has reviewed a case and is considering a final decision. Its a good sign.

@PD Nov 2021 .. these updates are for recently filed i485s. If yours was paper filed 3-4 years back won’t apply to you. @Sylvester Tanning what’s your pd btw?

@pd 14 set 21 you can search USCIS API on Reddit and can find links. This will not work for paper filing

@Sylvester Tanning just curious. Is API allowed? Why would it be available but yet doesn’t show on these kinda platforms or your actual portal? was just wondering how it works.

@AJ B yes it is allowed. Basically the API response are protected and you will only be able to view your case updates as it is authenticated via your USCIS account. For that reason it does not show up on these platforms. Hope this helps
