Hi My case is same situation as like you. My 824 was approved on Mar/16th but still be on USCIS not transfer to NVC yet. Can you share what $500 fee required?

Actually I haven’t sent the I-824. I’m not sure if it is mandatory or not. As for the fee I mentioned, is to file the I-824 and the exact amount is $465.

It should be transferred soon. I got EB1A approved on Jan 24, 2022. It got transferred to NVC from TSC 2 days ago.

No. I did not file 824.

I chose consular processing while filing I-140.

Me too. Consular process since the beginning. That’s why I can’t understand why they are requesting the I-824.

EB2 might take longer to transfer the case by default. Filing 824 might make it faster I guess.

I would suggest you wait for another 2 months before filing 824 if you don’t want to spend additional $500.

Hi I filed on 2/10 and got the expedite approval on 3/16th but didn’t get any notice from NVC yet.

@NR not transfer to NVC from USCIS yet. even there no any reason

Just a feedback on my case. I did not submit the I-824 and just waited. Today it was transferred to NVC with 130 days. Hope this post helps people with the same situation.

Distiny, my case is not F2A and I don’t know why they asked the 824. I did not send it because I heard similar cases that the person did not send and it worked. Maybe in your case you need to file the 824 in fact, so my advice is to inquiry USCIS or your attorney to understand if it’s really necessary or not.
