Form I-485 timeline check & inquiry advice
Hi everyone, I wanted to check if anyone shares a similar timeline with me. I filed my I-485 just one month after my case was approved. Is it reasonable to submit an inquiry WOM at this stage? Also, have you seen or heard of any cases being denied simply for filing or inquiring around this timeframe? Any insights or similar timeline data points would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I believe USCIS is intentionally delaying the processing of Form I-485 and Form I-131 applications filed by individuals who have already been granted asylum. It appears that the government does not want asylum recipients to receive their Green Cards and Refugee Travel Documents in a timely manner. A large number of cases were approved in September. However, as soon as September ended, USCIS appeared to shift its attention to October cases, while many pending cases continued to be delayed. I believe these delays may be intentional rather than simply the result of normal processing times.
