form I-130 & I485 Approved Finally!
filed back in Dec 2024, interview went well but didn’t hear nothing back until July 2026, got a NOID 😭with a due date to respond on August 10. NOID response sent August 7th 😭got approved Aug 29 😩🙌🏾🙌🏾💃🏾! it’s been a journey! after 13 years of being in this country, living in fear, I can finally say i’m a legal permanent resident.
i pray for those still waiting for their miracle! May God come through for y’all.

@I am hopeful get you a good lawyer, gather as much evidence as you can get. try not to ignore anything they say is the problem, if you can’t find that evidence, ensure your lawyer address it in his letter. I couldn’t provide all the evidence they needed but I gathered as much as I could, then my lawyer addressed all the missing evidence in his letter. USCIS care more about the totality of your case rather than one missing evidence.

@et sun my previous lawyer didn’t send all of our leases and other documents. USCIS only received partial evidence so the timeline was confusing for them. so my new lawyer rearranged everything chronologically and asked me to glue our pictures to A4 papers 📄 2pic per sheet then explain who,where and occasion of each of the pictures! lots of work but it was more organized. our house management also wrote a letter of attestation, including our family and friends. and most importantly! lots of prayers 😩🙌🏾

My interview was back in june 2025 with both 130 and 485 pending until now without any decision. i am not sure what to do. could you tell me what you did in july 2026 that triggered them to look at your case and send you noid? @grace Jo

@Impossible stop I didn’t do anything really, I just got tired of waiting so I told my lawyer to make an inquiry to the USCIS to see why they haven’t made a final decision on my case. I believe the lawyer sent them inquiries about 3 times then I started getting notifications like we are currently reviewing your case and later I got the NOID
