Form AR-11 sent, no address update!!
I sent the form AR-11 to inform change of my address around 2 months ago, but upon inquiry today from USCIS they said that my old address is in file and send another AR-11 form, any similar experience?

there is a chance that they may have refused your previous address change form for whatever reason

I had the same issue. I applied online 3x and by mail 2x to change my address. Each attempt spaced by about 2 months. When my notice was eventually sent, it was sent to my old address. Luckily I had contact with folks in my older address. You can only keep sending the AR-11 by mail and hope they eventually correct your address. For future cases, I’d advice you use the address of a friend/family that you know isn’t going to change houses for a long time.

Update your address with USPS and sign up for standard mail forwarding/change of address (cost: $1). USPS will automatically forward all mail sent to your old address to your new/current address for one year.

@as mas Why they would refuse an address change? It’s not an application!

i changed my address sooo many times both online and by mailing it. All unsuccessful! I reached out to my lawyer and they said to not be worried as they will receive it as well. So I just stopped sending mails.

I sent my AR-11 four months ago and it still hasn’t been updated online when I contacted Emma. But the good thing is that, I changed my address with USPS so it was forwarded to my new address. If you have already filed your AR-11, you don’t need to worry too much. You have a record that shows you did. just change your address with USPS and see the magic 😂
