I don’t have any experience but was recently at a field office where the petitioner forgot her ID and went home to get her ID instead of waiting for the interview. She was late in getting back and her interview was rescheduled. I’d suggest take what you have and let them tell you to submit the original if it’s needed.

If you're interview is not in the morning try to go to the court and get a certified copy. Hope everything goes well and the officer doesn't bother about it. Good luck

USCIS doesn't consider passport as birth certificate

well in our interview on November 22,2021..the officer did asked my hubby for his birth certificate

dan dan was your hubby a us citizen or the beneficiary?

my husband didn’t have his original birth certificate with him and they took the photocopy one she told us that’s it ok

yes they asked mine during the interview I was the petitioner and my husband was the beneficiary, I just show them my us passport .

hey guys interview was okay the officer was not that nice but i got approved after the interview
