@roro April 2022 did you ever get the and I quote “Our records indicate that this application remains pending at the Baltimore Field Office and has been assigned to an officer for adjudication. Your constituent should expect their application to be adjudicated in the next 60 days.” ombudsman also sent me the same status and closed my case and advised that I should follow up after 60 days if I do not hear back from the uscis .

@Jason g no they requested it on Feb/13/2023 , I mailed it on Feb/20/2023 .. they updated the status to RFE received on may/26/2023 and approved on July/3rd/2023

@Mr. Wilson USCiS indicated that on their response to the congressman inquiry but it was at Brooklyn FO and they asked to allow them 90 days .. but I got approved after 45 days of the Congressman inquiry and 4 days after the ombudsman response.. it’s a good sign and I believe you will have your approval in less than a month

I born in Brazil and have a Portugues citizenship from my mother. my question is about birthday certificate. im in USA and the Portuguese embassy give my birth certificate because I can’t take from Brazil. and also I just have my Portuguese passport. do you think is ok to uscis ?

how long after I send a response to RFIE medical can I get my green card. USCIS sent me an RFIE for medical for i485 base on an approved vawa. I sent the response to NBC as requested and my status was updated the same they received my medical. I got an update stating that they have started to work on my case again and a decision will be made on my case or if they need something else they will contact me. Do you think my interview is waived and how long will they take before I get a decision? my Vawa case was approved in May 2023 and I got an RFIE for medical one month after .

@f s yes apply with ur Portuguese passport and birth certificate as the main citizenship and add the Brazilian as second citizenship.. you can also consult with a lawyer to make sure which one to use

@claudis mars I got my approval after almost 5 months of submitting the medical.. it’s various but it won’t exceed 8-10 months .. since ur case at nbc and still there most likely your interview will be waived

@Jason g 60 days since the day you submitted your RFE response but it’s a business days so the 60 = 90 days and just to let u know they don’t follow this 🙂

@Jason g I got my approval after 134 days 😂

@Jason g 4 service requests and the last one they indicated that they received my response to RFE and began working on the case again .. they updated the status to RFE received 2 weeks after the last service request response and 38 days later I got approved
