I want to travel from Chicago to San Diego, granted derivative aslyee since 2024, have an approval notice copy with my personal belongings. will I be safe?

i think youll be safe.
i traveled a month ago from Ny to Fl. no issue.
you just need a REAL ID or you can use travel document if you have it.
