Fingerprints to be retaken
So my husband (principal) got the green card last week. However, my case status (as dependent) did not change at that time. Today, I received a letter to take my fingerprints again. How common is this?. I had my fingerprints taken back in April. This is super frustrating...

How many days you wait for the second appointment? Because too many yellow sign during the fingerprints may result in second appointment.

I did receive my ead last week. my first appointment for fingerprints was in April-21

this is bizarre. doesn’t EAD have finger print on them? if it was good for EAD why is it not good for green card? beats me

the ead shows no fingerprint. I don't understand this whole thing...

@Alex, if you see your previous biometric appointment letter, it must says your receipt numbers to which your fingerprints will apply to. If there is 2 receipt numbers (I-485 and I-765), the fingerprints are applied to both cases otherwise there will be a separate appointment for both.

the previous one only indicates the case number for I-485. the new notification is just for the same I-485 too. Not sure what happened here...
